Question 1

Why look for a Pika alternative?

Accepted Answer

If you outgrew Pika's single-model output and need 4K masters (Kling 3.0 Pro), native dialogue audio (Veo 3.1), or multimodal reference inputs with beat-sync (Seedance 2.0), a multi-model tool is the upgrade. Tab ships all three plus image and audio models inside one workspace.

Question 2

Which Tab model is closest to Pika?

Accepted Answer

Pika excels at stylized short-form. Inside Tab, Seedance 2.0 covers reference-driven, beat-synced short-form, Hailuo 2.3 covers dynamic motion / action, and Kling 3.0 Pro covers high-resolution polished short-form.

Question 3

Can I do image-to-video like Pika?

Accepted Answer

Yes. /image-to-video in Tab animates stills with Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 Pro, or Seedance 2.0. Generate the still in Nano Banana Pro or Seedream 5.0 and hand it to a video model in the same project.

Question 4

Is the agent useful here?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Agent mode picks the right model per shot, drafts prompts, and iterates. Manual mode gives you direct control. See /agent-mode and /manual-mode.

Question 5

How does pricing compare?

Accepted Answer

Tab starts with free workspace access, then 400 credits free for 7 days when you choose a paid plan and add a card. Mini starts at $40/month and Pro starts at $80/month after the trial. All models included. See /pricing.

Question 6

Where should I start?

Accepted Answer

Try /text-to-video, /image-to-video, or /plugins?tab=templates. For a direct comparison, see /flik-vs-pika.
