Question 1

What is an AI agent vs an AI generator?

Accepted Answer

An AI generator runs one model and produces one type of output — text-to-video, text-to-image, text-to-speech. An AI agent plans the work, picks the right model per step, generates, evaluates, and iterates. Tab is an agent: it routes shots to Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 Pro, Seedance 2.0, Hailuo 2.3 (video), Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 5.0, GPT Image 2 (image), ElevenLabs 3.0 (voice), and Suno 5.5 (music) inside one project.

Question 2

Why does the agent layer matter?

Accepted Answer

No single model wins every shot. Veo 3.1 leads on dialogue + native audio, Kling 3.0 Pro leads on 4K masters, Seedance 2.0 leads on multimodal references and beat-sync, Hailuo 2.3 leads on action. An agent picks per shot, drafts the prompt, and chains video → voice → music — work a single-model generator can't do.

Question 3

What can an AI creative agent do that a generator can't?

Accepted Answer

Plan a multi-shot project from one brief, pick the right model per shot, generate stills then animate them (image → video → voiceover → score), iterate with reference inputs, run the same campaign across multiple aspect ratios, and produce a final cut you can export — all from one prompt thread.

Question 4

Is Tab an agent or a generator?

Accepted Answer

Both. Agent mode plans, picks, and iterates for you. Manual mode lets you drive a single model directly. Chat mode is a conversational middle ground. See /agent-mode, /chat-mode, /manual-mode.

Question 5

Which models does the agent run?

Accepted Answer

Frontier video (Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 Pro, Kling 2.6, Kling o3 Edit/Ref, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Hailuo 2.3), image (Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, Seedream 5.0, GPT Image 2), voice (ElevenLabs 3.0), music (Suno 5.5), SFX (Mirelo 1.5). All on every plan; usage metered in credits.

Question 6

Where should I start?

Accepted Answer

Try /text-to-video with Agent mode and let the agent route. For a deeper read, see /what-is-an-ai-creative-agent and /ai-creative-agent.
