Question 1

Veo 3.1 vs Seedance 2.0 — what's the main difference?

Accepted Answer

Veo 3.1 (Google DeepMind) leads on native dialogue + broadcast-ready audio and ~4.2s generation speed. Seedance 2.0 (ByteDance) leads on multimodal reference input (9 images + 3 videos + 3 audio per generation) and native beat-sync motion. Both produce 1080p video.

Question 2

Which is better for dialogue scenes?

Accepted Answer

Veo 3.1. Its native audio generation produces synchronized dialogue with lip-sync, plus ambient sound and SFX. Seedance 2.0 generates dual-channel native audio too, but Veo is stronger for conversational and broadcast-style dialogue.

Question 3

Which is better for music videos?

Accepted Answer

Seedance 2.0. Native beat-sync motion locks video edits to a reference audio track — perfect for music videos. Pair it with Suno 5.5 inside Tab for a complete music-video workflow.

Question 4

Which is cheaper per second?

Accepted Answer

Veo 3.1 runs ~$0.75/sec via Google's official API. Seedance 2.0 runs ~$0.17–$1.33 for a 10-second clip via publicly reported APIs. Inside Tab, both are bundled into your plan's credits.

Question 5

Can I use Veo 3.1 and Seedance 2.0 in the same project?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tab lets you switch between Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0 Pro, and Hailuo 2.3 shot-by-shot in the same project. Use Veo 3.1 for dialogue, Seedance 2.0 for music-driven scenes, cut them together.
