Question 1

What is the Sketch → Animated Scene template?

Accepted Answer

Upload a rough drawing, napkin sketch, or storyboard frame. Tab uses Seedance 2 to bring it to life with motion, characters, and audio. In short: Upload a drawing, watch it come to life.

Question 2

Which AI model does the Sketch → Animated Scene template use?

Accepted Answer

The Sketch → Animated Scene template uses Tab's frontier video models by default. Inside Tab you can swap to any other supported video model — Kling 3.0 Pro, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0, Hailuo 2.3, Kling 2.6, Kling o3 Edit, or Kling o3 Ref — per shot; the prompt and references carry over.

Question 3

How do I use the Sketch → Animated Scene template in Tab?

Accepted Answer

Open it from its individual template page or the homepage template row. Tab prefills the starter prompt, model (Tab's frontier video models), aspect ratio (multiple aspect ratios), and duration (short-form clips) — edit any of them, then hit Generate. In Agent mode you can also hand the template off with a one-line brief and let the agent extend it into a full project.

Question 4

Can I customize the Sketch → Animated Scene prompt and references?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The template ships with a starter prompt tuned for this format, but every field is editable before generation — prompt, model, aspect ratio, duration, reference images, and references (multi-modal refs on Seedance 2.0 support up to 9 images + 3 videos + 3 audio tracks).

Question 5

How much does it cost to generate a Sketch → Animated Scene video?

Accepted Answer

Opening a template is free. Generation costs apply per model: a typical AI video clip runs ~1,000 credits (~$100 at 10¢/credit). Pro (from $40/month, 400 credits) fits individual creators; Business (from $80/month, 400 credits with Organization mode) fits teams; Unlimited ($200/month) gives unlimited Seedance 2.0 generations on a shared queue.
