Question 1

What is the Horror Short template?

Accepted Answer

Describe a premise. Tab builds atmosphere and tension with Seedance 2 — the audio is what makes it terrifying. Creaks, silence, then the scare. In short: Sound design does the heavy lifting.

Question 2

Which AI model does the Horror Short template use?

Accepted Answer

The Horror Short template uses Seedance 2 by default. Inside Tab you can swap to any other supported video model — Kling 3.0 Pro, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0, Hailuo 2.3, Kling 2.6, Kling o3 Edit, or Kling o3 Ref — per shot; the prompt and references carry over.

Question 3

How do I use the Horror Short template in Tab?

Accepted Answer

Open it from its individual template page or the homepage template row. Tab prefills the starter prompt, model (Seedance 2), aspect ratio (16:9), and duration (8 seconds) — edit any of them, then hit Generate. In Agent mode you can also hand the template off with a one-line brief and let the agent extend it into a full project.

Question 4

Can I customize the Horror Short prompt and references?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The template ships with a starter prompt tuned for this format, but every field is editable before generation — prompt, model, aspect ratio, duration, reference images, and references (multi-modal refs on Seedance 2.0 support up to 9 images + 3 videos + 3 audio tracks).

Question 5

What aspect ratio and duration does the Horror Short template use?

Accepted Answer

The Horror Short template defaults to 16:9 at 8 seconds. Tab supports 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 3:2, 1:1, 4:5, 3:4, 2:3, and 9:16 — switch before generating to match your distribution platform (YouTube, TikTok, Reels, LinkedIn, broadcast, etc.).

Question 6

How much does it cost to generate a Horror Short video?

Accepted Answer

Opening a template is free. Generation costs apply per model: a typical AI video clip runs ~1,000 credits (~$100 at 10¢/credit). Pro (from $40/month, 400 credits) fits individual creators; Business (from $80/month, 400 credits with Organization mode) fits teams; Unlimited ($200/month) gives unlimited Seedance 2.0 generations on a shared queue.
