Question 1

Seedance 2.0 vs Hailuo 2.3 — what's the main difference?

Accepted Answer

Seedance 2.0 (ByteDance, Feb 2026) is the multimodal-reference leader — accepts 9 images + 3 videos + 3 audio tracks per generation, with native beat-sync motion and 15s outputs. Hailuo 2.3 (MiniMax, Nov 2025) is the dynamic-motion leader — tuned for high-energy action, sports, dance, and kinetic character expression.

Question 2

Which is best for music videos?

Accepted Answer

Seedance 2.0. Native beat-sync and 3 audio reference slots make it the clear winner for music-driven content. Pair it with Suno 5.5 (for the track) and ElevenLabs 3.0 (for vocals) inside Tab to score, record, and sync in one project.

Question 3

Which is best for action scenes?

Accepted Answer

Hailuo 2.3. It's specifically tuned for high-velocity motion — parkour, sports, stunts, chase sequences. Seedance's motion is more structured and reference-driven, which is a different creative grammar.

Question 4

Can I use both in the same project?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A common pattern: generate establishing shots with Seedance 2.0 (multimodal reference control for style locking) and cut in action beats with Hailuo 2.3 for kinetic energy. Tab keeps all references consistent across model switches.

Question 5

Which is cheaper?

Accepted Answer

Both are mid-tier in pricing. Seedance 2.0 is ~$0.17–$1.33 per 10-second clip depending on tier. Hailuo 2.3 bills per video and tends to be cost-effective for short action beats. Both are bundled into Tab plan credits.
