Question 1

Seedance 2.0 vs Seedance 2.0 Fast — what's the difference?

Accepted Answer

Seedance 2.0 (standard) is the full-quality tier — supports 720p and 1080p output with the strongest motion and multimodal reference fidelity. Seedance 2.0 Fast prioritizes speed over quality ceiling — 720p only, faster turnaround, slightly lower per-second cost.

Question 2

Which is cheaper?

Accepted Answer

Seedance 2.0 Fast — ~$0.211/sec vs ~$0.264/sec for the standard tier at public rates. Inside Tab both are bundled into plan credits, so the pricing difference shows up as how quickly your credit allowance is consumed.

Question 3

Do both support multimodal references (9 images + 3 videos + 3 audio)?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Both tiers accept up to 9 image references, 3 video references, and 3 audio references per generation. The feature set is identical — Fast just trades quality ceiling for generation speed.

Question 4

When should I use Fast vs Standard?

Accepted Answer

Use Seedance 2.0 Fast for draft passes, quick iterations, and social content where 720p is sufficient. Use Seedance 2.0 (standard) for final renders, commercial work, or anything needing 1080p output.

Question 5

Can I iterate on Fast and final-render on Standard?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's a core Tab workflow. Sketch with Seedance 2.0 Fast, refine references and prompts, then re-render the keeper with Seedance 2.0 Standard for final 1080p output. References carry over across the swap.
