Question 1

What is Kling o3 Ref?

Accepted Answer

Kling o3 Ref is Kuaishou's reference-clip-to-video model. You upload a 3–10 second reference clip, describe what you want, and Kling o3 Ref generates a new clip that matches the camera movement, pacing, lighting, and style of the reference — but with your prompt's subject and action.

Question 2

How does Kling o3 Ref differ from image-to-video?

Accepted Answer

Image-to-video takes a single still image and animates outward from that frame. Kling o3 Ref takes an entire reference clip — including its motion, timing, and cinematographic signature — and uses it to guide a new generation. This is how you clone a 'look' across multiple shots in the same project.

Question 3

What can I do with Kling o3 Ref in Tab?

Accepted Answer

Lock a visual style across a project: generate one hero shot, then use it as a Kling o3 Ref to match camera and pacing on every subsequent shot. Duplicate a trending social video format. Restyle an existing ad into a new product line while keeping the proven motion grammar.

Question 4

What inputs does Kling o3 Ref accept?

Accepted Answer

A required reference video clip (3–10 seconds), a text prompt describing the new subject or scene, and optional image or video references to layer additional style and motion guidance. Output durations: 3–15 seconds. Aspect ratios: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1.

Question 5

Kling o3 Ref vs Seedance 2.0 — which for music videos?

Accepted Answer

Seedance 2.0 wins when you already have the music and want motion beat-synced to its tempo (it accepts 3 audio reference tracks). Kling o3 Ref wins when you have a visual reference clip — a mood film, a competitor's spot, a prior take — and want new shots that match its cinematographic feel.
